Per The Trustees' official Crane Estate Regulations: open fires are prohibited except on the open beach where only portable gas grills are allowed, no charcoal. Grilling is restricted to the open beach area only using bring-your-own portable propane grills; charcoal and grilling elsewhere on the estate (dunes, Castle Hill, Crane Wildlife Refuge) is prohibited.
