Bay-side beach on Shore Rd in Shelter Island Heights; lifeguards (10am-5pm in season), comfort station. Historically nicknamed 'Louis' Beach' after concessionaire Louis Behringer. Town Code Ch. 36 sets general beach-conduct rules but has no grilling/fire provision at all.
