FishingLicense Lake Anna is well-known for its largemouth bass, crappie, bream. A variety of other freshwater fish can also be found. A valid Virginia fishing license is required. A 2-acre fishing pond designed for children and disabled persons only is located near the visitor center. Also, a public boat launching ramp is available, along with many areas for bank fishing.
