SwimmingNo The park's Aquatic Recreation Center is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. Lake swimming is prohibited.
FishingLicense During daylight hours only, enjoy fishing at Swift Creek and Beaver lakes. A valid Virginia fishing license is required.
AlcoholPermit State law permits alcohol use only in private areas (inside a cabin or camping unit) or in areas designated on permits issued by the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at the swimming pool complex.
DogsLeash A $20 fee is charged per pet per night for cabin stays. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet when not in an enclosed area. They are not allowed at the pool. Pets may not be left unattended at any time.
