City of Ithaca lakefront park at the north end of Cayuga Lake with a dedicated 40-person BBQ Pavilion plus a large Picnic Pavilion, surrounded by free-use public charcoal grills; bringing a personal propane or charcoal grill is banned outside of a permitted rental.

SwimmingLifeguard Only at the Cass Park Pool. Swimming is prohibited in areas not supervised by lifeguards.
FishingLicense Fishing is allowed with a valid NYS fishing license. Catch and release is encouraged.
DogsLeash Dogs are allowed at both Cass Park & Stewart Park but must be ON LEASH at all times and are restricted to the paved trailways and open field areas. Dogs are not permitted in the Renwick Wildwoods, the Fuertes Bird Sanctuary, near any of the osprey nesting areas, or the carousel at Stewart Park and are not permitted in any pavilion, playground, athletic field or recreation court, pool or splash pad, or any park buildings at either park. Owners must clean up after their dogs. An exception to these dog restrictions shall be made for service animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability.
